My husband and I have tried more than half a dozen cherry preserve products, trying to find one that had a true cherry flavor, real cherries and lots of them, as well as much less sugar so that the true flavor of the cherry could be tasted. Maury Island's Cherry Preserves are by far the best quality, best tasting and beautiful to behold. We give the jars as gifts along with my homemade bread.

The Maury Island preserves exceeded my expectations. They are a nice, thick consistency and packed FULL of cherries. I purchased them to make chocolate covered cherries and they worked out perfectly! They should also be great in cookie recipes and of course are delicious right out of the jar. I will be back for more. :)

Cherries are probably my favorite fruit. I'm always on the lookout for a great tart cherry preserves, which is hard to find. I recently purchased 2 jars of the Maury Island Farm Tart Cherry Preserves and was hopeful it would be a keeper. When I opened the first jar I was surprised by the texture. It was very stiff, firm and almost impossible to spread on toast, little lone homemade biscuits. It just seemed overcooked. Each time I have used the preserves, I have had to heat it up in order to get a spreadable consistency and, even then, it is still super thick and dry. The flavor and texture of the preserves, with its whole cherries, is excellent but I would think twice before purchasing it again since it comes in a solid block that is impossible to spread. Maybe these two jars were from a bad batch but at $6.00 for an 11 oz jar, I'm not sure I would risk purchasing it again to find out. Disappointing!

This tart cherry preserves has the perfect ratio of tart and sweet. The cherries are firm and whole giving it a wonderful texture on scones. Very flavorful!

I always loved tart cherries and was not able to find one preserve in America that reminded me of the one my mother used to make in France.

I was never happy with any of the other preserves I purchased over the years. Finally I found it in Maury Island Farm Tart Cherry preserve. The fruit is so well prepared, a lot of it, and it is not too sweet.

I use it on toast with my tea, my husband uses it on his vanilla ice cream.

I want to make a pound cake with the Cherries baked in and serve it with whipped cream.

I love it and thank the internet I found Maury Island Farm

products.

We drink tart cherry juice as a preventive for arthritis so we figured tart cherry preserves would help too. We quickly learned the preserves are delicious and an attractive purple-red color. My only criticism (and it's minor) is that the cherries are still whole. They tend to fall off toast and end up on the floor or the table. Grinding the preserves lightly would take care of this.

Just the right amount of tartness. The tastiest cherry preserves I've tasted since my Mom's cherry preserves 50-60 years ago. And so happy that there is no high fructose corn syrup. I don't buy products sweetened with that. Awesome stuff!!
